NCDOT: Highway 12 Open and Passable This Morning

NCDOT crews worked through the night to ensure the highway is safe for driving

After yesterday's severe weather and flooding, the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) has announced that Highway 12 is now open and passable in both directions. NCDOT crews worked through the night to clear debris and make repairs to the highway.

There may still be some minor delays in the area, so drivers should use caution. NCDOT is asking drivers to remain alert for any remaining hazards, such as downed trees or debris in the roadway.
